Telecommunications / data communications, also known as Telecom & Datacom, is the exchange of information over significant distances by electronic means and refers to all types of voice, data and video transmission. This is a broad term that includes a wide range of information transmitting technologies such as telephones (wired and wireless), microwave communications, fiber optics, satellites, radio and television broadcasting, the internet and telegraphs.
A complete, single telecommunications circuit consists of two stations, each equipped with a transmitter and a receiver (the transmitter and receiver at any station may be combined into a single device called a transceiver). The medium of signal transmission can be via electrical wire or cable, optical fiber, electromagnetic fields or light. The free space transmission and reception of data by means of electromagnetic fields is called wireless communications.
The simplest form of telecommunications takes place between two stations.

2-3: Power Over Ethernet Solutions
After decades of focusing on LED lighting for energy efficiency, attention is shifting to intelligent Power Over Ethernet. Datacom supplies viable power over Ethernet solutions, forming the core of smart building infrastructure. Our range of solutions incorporates enhanced POE standards, capable of efficiently delivering higher wattage to interconnected devices. Our offerings encompass Cat6/Cat6A Connectors, MPTL Plugs (UTP, STP), Single Pair Ethernet Cable, POE extenders, POE injectors, Media Converters, as well as Environmental Sensors.
Last time we talked about POE switches, how should we choose network cables? Then, many friends were puzzled about how to connect, but it was actually very simple. The RJ45 network cable interface was used directly to power devices that support POE power supply. If you ask how many RJ45 crystal heads are used for power supply, the answer is as follows: 1236 (white orange, orange, white green, green) runs data (currently only these four are used for the five types of network cable connections), 45 (blue, white blue) power supply positive pole 78 (white brown, brown) power supply negative pole.
The POE power supply system uses twisted pair cables (commonly known as network cables) to transmit communication signals and power. Generally speaking, digital network signals are transmitted through differential lines using network cables above CAT 5(including), while providing power to the PD port.
The first type requires an 8-core Ethernet cable, which is powered by idle terminals 4, 5, 6, and 7, while the other data terminals are used to transmit digital network signals. In this type of Ethernet cable, signals and power are actually transmitted through different cables, but it is not visible on the surface.
The second option is to use a 4-core Ethernet cable, which simultaneously transmits digital network signals and electricity through the 1 and 6 data terminals. Here, the digital network signals and electricity are transmitted on the same line.
Except for wireless bridges, other devices that require simultaneous transmission of communication signals and power can use the POE power supply method, such as network cameras and other digital network equipment.
In wireless monitoring systems, POE power supply modules are commonly used.
